Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend…I was impressed with our students on Friday evening at the Follies, especially by the musical stylings of our own Joseph and Kevin! In Social Studies, we are finishing up Chapter 6 and will start on Chapter 7 (Ancient India). In Literature, we continue to read our novel (in class and at home). In Language Arts, we will soon close our Unit on Verbs and begin working on Pronouns. In Math, we are working on Geometry.
Student Council elections are this week, on Thursday! Good luck to all our 6th grade candidates!
Next week: Monday (5/28) is a holiday. Thursday, 5/31 is “Mother/Son Night;” don’t forget to sign up.

Happy Monday! Students should be studying hard for their Vocabulary tests (6th and 7th graders). We are also coming to the end of our chapter on Kush in Social Studies, so will be having a quiz this week, and a Chapter test to follow. We are continuing to read our novel in Literature, and students have questions to answer for each chapter.
REMINDERS: Tomorrow after school, auditions are being held for the Follies! This Wednesday at 10:15 at the Church is the May Procession and Mass. Friday evening at 6, the Follies will be held in Parish Hall.
